Trevor Pedler has worked in marketing communications for over 30 years. Since 1994 he has owned and operated three innovative marketing communications firms – portofino studios, plan b creative and most recently WurstlinGroup. His experience spans a broad spectrum of industries and clients including Coca-Cola, Levis, Kraft, Suzuki, Labatt, RBC, Abbott Laboratories, National Car Rental, George Brown College, Manulife Financial, Rogers Communications and The Conservative Party of Canada to name just a few.
Prior to venturing out on his own he was President of Savage Sloan Design, President of Harrod & Mirlin Advertising, Vice President/Group Head McCann-Erickson Advertising and CMO of IKEA Canada.
Mr. Pedler received his MBA from Schulich School of Business and his BA (hon. Economics) from York University. Throughout his career he has made significant strategic and creative contributions to a great many brands, product categories and companies. His most memorable work is still evident through his design of the Tim Hortons “Always Fresh” logo, the political branding of Michael Ignatieff (“just visiting”) and the creation of several sub-brands (suretap, Rogers First Rewards, WOW! mobile boutique) for Rogers Communications.
Mr. Pedler presently counsels C-Suite Management, is a consultant with Enterprise Toronto’s Starter Company Program and an External Business Advisor for the Ted Rogers Leadership Centre at Ryerson University.
